Woah - This poem astounds me William. It is so good. Two distinct images, ultimately unrelated, but when placed next to each other...wow.
Scott, thanks very much. Glad you like it. Without a doubt, I’ve never heard this many crows at once. I don’t know what got them going. I thought to investigate, but was half afraid I’d find Van Gogh in their midst, dead on the sidewalk at dawn.
I love this Crowku.
Thanks, Jean. And this morning, they have been almost completely silent....
Crow convention, mayhaps, or a dispute.
This Crowku is an exemplary English Haiku.
Thanks, Brian. Maybe what they need is a charismatic leader. Or maybe they just did away with one.
Crows point Haiku is; messengers for Talk and Silence in deep blues and silky blacks... really marvellous feeling-slide!
Rudhi, your illustration goes very well with this poem....
....Ludwik Adam Mierosławski Krakow 1846
Possibly, but the Van Gogh scenario is more likely.
I love the Crowku too! Congrats, HG!
Thanks, LK. And as you know, I have even more crows between my ears....
lol aw well, these things happen when you study Central/Eastern European History for five months or more ;)
Well, there’s no better place to get it out of your system. For instance, we also have the illustrious Rabbi Yaakov Gesundheit.
We may as well throw Dostoevsky and Tolstoy into the mix...*shrugs*
word verification: copula... a word I remember from sixth grade grammar...
