As a matter of fact, this morning I found some nasturtiums creeping into the backyard through the neighbor’s rotting fence. I wrote the poem too early, I guess.
Rudhi, many years ago my wife’s brother and I were hiking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. In the distance there was a forest fire. At one point, ashes started falling on our arms. Then the weather turned cold and we realized that the ashes weren’t ashes, but tiny snowflakes....

Beautyful idea! Much more nicer than ashes; but who minds, evrything will be composted once...
Or better yet, like capucines, which can be gathered up and added to a summer salad, to be eaten by our friends. :)
