Henry

Henry was my great-grandmother Eliza’s husband. I know even less about him than I do about her. Flesh of my flesh, blood of my blood — I remember my mother saying the fall from his horse that killed him was no accident.

What a lucky person you are, to have photographs of great-great family. :-) It's such fun and interesting to look at pictures of your roots. I only have pictures of my grandparents (which is also nice ofcourse, but further back is great)
I love the mixed photographs!

Ohje, kein Zufall???

herzlich, Rachel

Thanks, Caio. You’re right, and so we finish that part of the story with our own imagination....

Rachel and Momo Luna, we have my mother to thank for saving these old photographs, and the mysteries that go with them.

The fingers of the photographer superimposed on Henry's image are like the present superimposed on the past. They captivate me.

Thanks, Elisabeth. I was hoping for that kind of impression. Meanwhile, I guess my fingers make this picture digital in more ways than one....
