"This is where the little elves cuddle down to hide themselves; Into fluffy beds they creep, say good-night,and go to sleep".
From Flower Fairies by Cicely Mary Barker "the song of the Old-Man's-Beard fairy" ( Old-Man's-Beard is Wild Clematis; its flowers are called Traveller's Joy.The silky fluff belongs to the seeds.) I love the little ones in between, they look well protected. Greetings from Holland, Aleksandra
I love it. Those four lines make the perfect caption. Yes, the little ones are all safely tucked into the “old man’s beard.” And he’s very glad you could join us....

Perfect, William! When you-all decide to visit, you-all gonna blend in perfectly with all the Wild Clematis growing all round Meligalas!
And still to me the eyes look troubled, but the many flowing beards provide great comfort. Thanks William.
Alek's poem works wonderfully well, too.
What kind of mushrooms you eated, William;-?
Vassilis, we all take that as good news, because the truth is, we have never blended in anywhere!
Thanks, Elisabeth. With the help of Aleksandra’s poem and Vassilis’s hospitality, we’re feeling pretty cheerful now.
Rudhi, you know the kind!
