That’s it exactly, Annie —
there’s no way but
forward.
And what you say about
the stories is so true.
Note: Yes, I’m trying a new layout. Shocking, isn’t it? For the most part, I like the way the template handles the drawings and the sidebar information. I’m not crazy about the sans serif font, but I suppose that can be changed. I’d also like the links to show up a little better....

AAAarrrrghhh.......am I lost?? Listening to radio head Im a creep very loud, and than opening the door to a reading room finding myself in a White room!!! :O) I think I love this new look.:O)*
Off to Annie's... Bye!!!
This is a great new look William!!! Change is good for you. It keeps you young :)
Thanks, Aleksandra and Janice! I just changed the font to something a little more “stately” and in keeping with the old feel. But in general, so far, so good. I’ll probably go on fiddling with it for awhile....
FWIW, the font is serif on my end...
?????
In fact, Joe, I changed it to a serif font awhile ago.....
Lookin good, William :).. I especially like using a wider format in the post column, it seems you benefit from it as well :)...
Thanks, Cassie. I think so too. And the fact that the width of both columns is adjustable is also nice.
Nice change William.
Your blog is really quite warm, your writing and images, like sitting beside a fire with you.
Can I ask? Softer? Oh. I can never just be. Candle light. Vellum. But none of us comes for your page. We come for your mind, your words, your spirt.
And so, there is a girl, see, and she only has this much. See? This much. And so, if you were going to tell her which two, which two books of yours would you suggest? She is terribly attracted to the cover of Another Song I Know. (Does it really look like that?) But that shouldn't be the point, should it? Which two books of yours are your...hum...which two would you suggest?

Thanks, Ken. I’ve been thinking about changing the layout for awhile now, and when Janice changed hers earlier today I threw caution to the wind. Granted, it’s pretty sedate compared to some of the things out there, but I’m still recovering from assembling that bookcase, you see, and the ordeal has left me feeling rather weak.... cough... But I must say, there is hope in your kind words.
Erin, it all depends. By any chance, is the girl’s name Erin? Because if it is, I think I’d suggest Another Song I Know — and yes, the cover really does look like that — and The Painting of You. And speaking of candles, I find myself melting a bit upon hearing your reason for being here.
i was thrown by this new layout: i pressed your link with my expectations intact, like a sip of your favourite cup of tea... i've just spilt my tea!
i like the posts being on the left and the other stuff on the right (though i had got used to your previous layout)
Nothing like "old wine, new bottles" to keep them creative juices flowing!
Well, Rahina, if it’s any consolation, I’m still in shock myself....
Vassilis, I’ll drink to that!
