New Times Arrived

In keeping with the title of her blog, my gifted artist-friend Aleksandra has freshened her template a bit, and also updated her post about her wonderful portrait to include more photos and background information. Such an amazing story — and I must say, I do feel bad in a way, somehow responsible for the suffering involved.

My thanks to all who have commented so far: Wanda, Elisabeth, Vassilis, Kevin, Ken, Laura, Steven, Erin, Crissant, and, of course, dear Aleks.

I just see the refreshed template, and in meanwhile (since your portrait from aleksandra) I'm loving her, Alexandra was transported to the canvas, not only the image of Willaim Michaelian, but also carried her own heart , I can read her soul through your eyes on the canvas, a wonderful feeling belive me

I think you’re right, Laura. Aleksandra has revealed more than her talent. Her good, generous spirit gives life to this painting.

Aleksandra is such a talented artist and a beautiful person. I can understand her frustration about your portrait William but she has captured you perfectly. Your portrait almost speaks it is so wonderfully painted. It has life and warmth...

I agree completely, Janice. I think it’s wonderful. It still hurts when I think what she has gone through in the process. And yet at the same time there is so much to be learned. Maybe it needed to happen in just that way, for both of us.

Aleksandra, I think what you said at the end of your post applies here as well: “Love, light, and peace.”....

The portrait is just gorgeous! I wrote on her blog it is much more than the beautiful colors, fine strokes and wonderful portrait. It has caught your spirit in it and it has her lovely soul. :-)
