Smiling thoughtfully with eyes closed to the here and now
He has traveled back in time to the there and then
Happy thoughts and memories dancing in his head
He drinks in the sweet wine of what used to be
Drunk with pleasure, he sleeps on in the past...

The past is better each new time around....

Thanks, Janice!

He does look like a traveller, edges worn and softened, a look of content.
Perhaps he lives in the cabin, Janice. A place of solitude where he can travel to his heart's content. Or maybe the place to where he travels.

Thanks, Elizabeth. Thanks Aleksandra. In both cases, a traveler. And there is, Aleksandra, a feminine aspect or presence. Tenderness and contentment.... Thank you both.
