William, this is a charming and magical piece! Thanks to you and Aleks for putting it here for us all to enjoy. Maybe I'm just a sucker for this sort of thing, but I think it has equal delights for old and young alike - especially those of us still kids at heart. Well-animated too! Who did this? It looks to me as if it were done in the traditional hand-drawn way and not with computer generated images? Just dreaming, maybe...

Yes, Jasmin, sometimes I think the last thing we need is words, if we need them at all....

Glad you like it, Rahina. I agree, and Aleksandra does this again and again in her two blogs.

We’ll find out when he’s here this weekend, Aleksandra. In the meantime, I’m happy to pass this along. Thank you again.

Thanks, Jean.

It looks hand-drawn to me, Gabriella. I haven’t looked into the nuts and bolts of the piece, and I probably won’t. I’m content with the magic just as it is. I love the innocence of the drawings, and the color as well. And the music — well, I grew up with those melodies, and can remember learning them on the piano. And oh, when that man walks off across the frozen lake, with the snow falling on and around him....
