The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, Rendered into English Verse by Edward Fitzgerald. Illustrated by Jeff Hill. Peter Pauper Press, Mount Vernon, New York. Undated. No page numbers. $.50.
Note: I’ve seen references online indicating this book was published in the 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. Something tells me they can’t all be right.

What a nice photograph. Is it a good translation? I have never read any of it, and should.
You won’t be sorry. I think this is the Fourth Edition. I far prefer the First. For samples, see this post.
Thanks, William! Will do (loaded and waiting) - after this awesome track that ended up in my reader - so good. Listening for the third time. Wish I knew the language it was in. Check it out if you like - link: here
talk to you later-

Belle présentation pour nous mettre en appétit pour cet ouvrage... Je ne connais pas... mais je suppose que vous l'aimez beaucoup.
Bisous et bonne année.
William, I checked a few sources and the edition you have looks like 1850s or so and is worth at least 20 bucks. You got a deal!
Martine, I like the book the same way a boy likes an ice cream cone: I want it to last, and I want to devour it all at once! Wishing you all the best....
Paul, I got a deal even if it’s worth only fifty cents; but of course I know it’s worth more than that. Still, I’m sure it’s of twentieth century vintage — an assessment I’m given more and more myself these days.
