Poetry, notes, and marginalia by William Michaelian
William, I always enjoy your drawings and find them so expressive. When I looked at the first canvas, he looks as if he is whistling, so my mind went straight to "whistling in the dark".Your second canvas seems to me like he is yawning and is bored or maybe tired.Even though these were my thoughts, I always enjoy your canvas drawings~~~
Thanks, Jan. Your thoughts are what count. They help send these drawings into the world. The words “delicate” and “myth” sum up my wife’s impressions of them. By and large, this crazy gallery of portraits goes its way alone. I think most people don’t quite know what to make of them. But I love them, I really do, and I will be faithful to them until the end.
As you should, William! There are many of us out here that really do love your "gallery of portraits". Of course I am a very big fan of them!!!
And don’t think they don’t know it, Jan. They do. Thanks again.
Wondeful William. (i love them all) I wish you and your family a happy easter!Hugs....
All my best to you too, Monica. Happy Easter, and thank you.
