Does emotion drive music, or does music drive emotion? I think I choose my music based on the strength of how I FEEL it...no matter the emotion. Then I recall and replay a melody based on a need to feed or exorcise a feeling.
To your questions, musings, and observations, Annie, a resounding Yes. Life is a song, I think, and I mean that in the most real sense. I think we’re musical beings, and that our emotions can’t be separated from the melody, whatever it happens to be at any given moment, and which lives within an even greater melody. We choose music and it chooses us.
Silence has its sound too...movement...we have one folk dance back home and it is preformed in silence,no music,no nothing except the dance.... I love the dance of silence... and the words you write ...beautifully chosen...

Thank you, Aleksandra, and how right you are about silence; it is its own melody. I would love to see that dance.
