Annie, acceptance and rejection might be irrelevant to the gift, but they have much to do with the offering of it. My lines here ask you to look; if you don’t, then nothing of the offering will be revealed. Acceptance is an open door. Rejection is a closed door. How are we to know each other and ourselves better if the door is closed? Think of our many exchanges. Are they not all offerings, mine to you and yours to me? If they aren’t, then what are they?

We thank you, Robert, and you, Laura. If your acceptance isn’t a miracle, I don’t know what is.
All our creativity is an offering. To self. To others. Acceptance and rejection are rather irrelevant to the gift.
