Thank you, Laura. Each book, no matter how old, is still living a life of its own. I’m lucky to have them in my care, and to be in theirs.

A beautiful edition to your home library, William. I keep many of old books in a glass enclosed case. This way I can still see them and they are protected. My favorite thing to do is to open those doors every now and then so that the wonderful perfume of ancient knowledge greets me and invites me to take one of them out and read words written so long ago.

I’ve always liked glass cases, Jan. In an antique shop several months ago, we saw a beautiful one that used to be in the State Capitol, decades back. I checked my wallet, but for some odd reason, I couldn’t find the thousand dollars they were asking for it. I did find a couple of old wilted business cards, though.

Hi William!
How odd, that you could not find the money for the glass cases.
I am sitting and smiling in front of my computer and asking myself who
has these days?

Friendly greetings!!

Hi, Monika! And you can be sure, if I did find a thousand dollars in my pocket, I would spend almost all of it on books....
