In a sky so still

In a sky so still, sparrows,
like steam from a kettle, or arrows,
that know where old gods go
when they fly.

Oh, William...you have described Sparrows in flight beautifully here!!! I have always thought of them as a flock of tiny arrows when I see them in flight, but I could never have written words such as your's to tell their story~

Maybe not, Jan, or maybe so, but you can surely paint them. Many, many thanks, dear friend.
