The Paper Birch with so many eyes on the world...never closing...never sleeping. And oh, how I always wish to write great words in inks made from purple berries on a piece of paper birch bark that has fallen to the ground next to a bright, golden leaf. Many birds visit...but one in particular can scroll up and down the great Paper Birch...the Red Headed Woodpecker.

Loved your words, William...you wrote beautifully about one of my favorite trees :)

And so have you. Thank you, Jan. I love your birch paintings, and no doubt that is why they came to mind when I was putting down these words.

P.S. And just so you know, I have since seen your “birch eyes” entry, complete with photographs and poem, each beautiful and true. Thank you.

Thank you so much, William. I cannot put into words how much this means to me...so I will just say, "thank you once again my friend~"
