I can't get over this drawing. It's the same image I drew years ago. Yours is singing. Mine was howling--but those times have passed.
Interesting. Maybe they know each other — or, more to the point, maybe they are each other, or are part of each other. Lately, there has been a dove near our house that has been calling frantically, in a way I’ve never heard. Part song, part moan. Joyful in its pain, perhaps, or in pain seeking joy.
